The Problem

I searched for years for the perfect tool. One that would help me manage clients, track time, and keep an overview of my projects – without having to juggle multiple apps.

The result? Contacts here, time tracking there, tasks somewhere else. And at the end of every month, the same question: Was that project actually profitable?

The work itself was never the problem – managing it was.

• Catching up on time entries I forgot to log
• Copying client data between apps
• Calculating at month-end whether it was all worth it
• Searching for documents that were filed somewhere

The Search

I tried everything. Note-taking apps – too cluttered. Project management tools – too many features I don't need. CRMs – built for sales departments, not for me.

And even when a tool somewhat fit, I ended up using only a fraction of its features. The rest was noise — menu items I had to learn just to ignore. Every new app made me slower, not faster.

Why isn't there a tool that simply does what I need?

The Decision

In 2024, I had enough. If the tool I need doesn't exist – I'll build it myself.

Not for large corporations. Not for huge departments. But for people like me:

• Freelancers who want to keep track of their clients
• Solopreneurs who need to track their time
• Creatives who want to know if their hourly rate is right
• Freelancers who work with colleagues or clients on joint projects
• Anyone with a digital business who is tired of tool chaos
