Before, everything ran through Excel and Word. Now the client, the notes and the tasks are attached to the job, and after a shoot I don’t have to work out what is still open. When I invoice, I see right away what belongs to it. Simple and clear.
I’d been looking for something like this for a long time. Two things matter to me: when I last spoke to someone and when the next contact is due. Notes and tasks go straight onto the contact, then I don’t have to go looking.

What LaizyNote deliberately does not do
A tool that does everything does nothing well. So here is what is missing — so you do not find out two weeks in.

No bookkeeping
No cash-basis accounts, no VAT returns, no bank connection, no DATEV export, no receipt management. Lexware Office handles that, and LaizyNote connects to it — provided you have your own account there.

No invoicing inside the tool
The Lexware Office integration creates invoice drafts over there. Drafts on purpose, so you look at the invoice once more before it goes out. The integration is available in every plan, but it needs your own Lexware Office account on XL or higher.

No quote creation, no staff management, no capacity planning
Quotes from Lexware Office are displayed here, but they are written over there, not in LaizyNote. Staff management and capacity planning are tools for agencies with a team — if you need them, agency software will serve you better.
